Briwnet School is a technology education platform powered by Briwnet Web. This notice describes the information handled through briwnetschool.co.ke. Contact info@briwnet.shop with a privacy question or request.
1. What you share with us
Applications collect contact information, location, education and experience, device access, program preferences, referral information and learning goals. Some personal fields are optional. Enquiries collect your name, email, question and optional phone number. Do not send passwords, payment-card details, medical records or unnecessary identity documents through these forms.
2. Why we use this information
The school uses information to review applications, discuss program suitability, communicate admissions decisions, maintain student records, answer questions and attribute referrals. Authorised administrators can correct records and record internal admissions notes. Providing an application does not automatically sign you up for unrelated marketing.
3. Referral information
You can apply without a referral. An active registered code links the application to its marketer record. Code verification displays only the registered referrer’s name and code, not private contact or payout details. Unverified codes and manually supplied details can be kept for follow-up without claiming that they have been verified. Share another person’s contact details only with their permission.
4. Cookies and optional browser drafts
Essential session cookies support form security and administrator sign-in. The application’s optional draft feature stores your entered answers on the browser you are using, excluding security tokens and confirmation checkboxes. Do not enable it on a shared device. A draft expires after seven days and is removed when the site next checks it; you can clear it sooner using Clear saved draft or your browser controls. A confirmed submission clears the saved draft. Drafts are not admissions records until you submit.
5. Online images, fonts and external links
The website loads fonts from Google Fonts and photos from online image hosts. Those services receive ordinary connection information, such as your IP address, when your browser requests their content. Choosing WhatsApp opens a separate service with its own privacy practices. The planned student and staff portal will be a separate application with its own access arrangements.
6. Who can access records
Access to stored application, student, marketer and enquiry records is restricted to authorised administrators. Hosting and configured email providers may process information to operate the service. A marketer referral code does not provide dashboard access. CSV exports must be handled as private applicant data.
7. Protection and its limits
The application includes validation, CSRF protection, parameterised database access, request limits, password hashing and restricted administrator routes. The hosting operator is responsible for HTTPS, access permissions, updates and protected backups. No website can promise absolute security.
8. Keeping and correcting information
Contact the school to request access, correction or deletion of information associated with you. We may need to verify your identity and explain any reason a record needs to be retained. Admissions and student records are not automatically deleted by this website. Please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information when making a request.
9. Younger applicants
If you are under 18, involve a parent or guardian before sharing information or making enrolment arrangements. Contact admissions to discuss suitability and any permission required for the selected program. Do not assume that submitting a form alone satisfies those requirements.
10. Changes and questions
The school may update this notice when its services or information-handling arrangements change. The version on this page identifies the current notice. For a question or concern, contact the school.
